Belfast 24

We are pleased to announce that we have taken over the Belfast 24 event from Atlas running
The date of the 25th & 26th July 2026 has now been confirmed.
We want to make it the weekend community festival event that it was. We hope you will join us to create a great event and a great vibe in the running community.
The event will follow the same format as previous years.
We will have the following distances:

24Hr Individual event - This will be the main event, it will start at 12noon on Saturday 25th and will end at 12noon on Sunday, this is an event that will test your Ultra ability, the idea is to run for 24hours to push your body and to see how far you can get, the best way is to keep going and not to stop, walk if you must but keep going, you can of course choose to stop and rest at anytime and for as long as you like, but remember the race finishes at 12noon on Sunday. The person that runs the furthest is the overall wilnner.

24Hr Relay event - This is made up of teams of 4 people, they can be all Male, all Female, or mixed, this follows the same format as the individual event except, that each team member runs for 2 hours before handing over to the next person meaning each team member will run for a total of 6 hours in the 24hr period. Start time 12noon on Saturday 25th and will end at 12noon on Sunday

100Mile event - This event will start at 12noon on Saturday 25th and will end at 12noon on Sunday
again following the same format as the main event, however the first person to reach the 100mile is the overall winner, the race will keep going for the 24hours even if the winner finishes it in 12hours, the aim is simply to complete only 100miles in 24hours or under.

100Km event - This event will start at 3.00pm
on Saturday 25th and will end at 12noon on Sunday
this will give you a total time of 21hours to complete 62miles. First to finish the 100km is the overall winner.

50Km event -This event will also start at 3.00pm on Saturday 25th and will end at 12noon on Sunday this will give you a massive total time of 21hours to complete 31miles. First to finish the 50km is the overall winner.

Marathon and Back to Back Marathon event - This event you will have 2 option's to choose from, you can enter a Single Marathon this will start at 3pm on Saturday 25th and you will have a time limit of 7hours in which to finish.
If you really want to test yourself you can enter a Double Marathon the second Marathon will start a 3am on the Sunday Morning, after you have
rested for 4 hours. You will then have 9 hours to complete the second Marathon, both Marathons will count towards your 100 Marathon totals as they are held on 2 different days.

Half Marathon - This event will start at 8am Sunday Morning and finish at 12noon and will be limited to 100 entries.
