Are delighted to host this event to help raise much needed funds for the new Child contact centre located in West Street Carrickfergus.
What is a Child Contact Centre?
A Child Contact Centre is a safe, friendly and neutral place where children of separated families can spend time with one or both parents, and sometimes other family members. It is a child-centred environment that puts the needs of the children first.
Carrickfergus Child Contact Centre is a warm, safe, welcoming, child-centered environment with a range of play activities for children aged 0-16 years. Every family has the opportunity to enjoy safe and positive contact time while being supported by our highly trained and skilled volunteers.

So What is the run?
We have 4 distances for you to choose from:
5km
10km
Half Marathon
Full Marathon
All distances will start and finish in West Street Carrickfergus
8am start for the Half and Full Marathon and 9.00am start for the 5km and 10km
These are not our typical We Run Wild courses as we want to encourage as many as possible to enter.
There will be no road closures, all of the distances will be run or walked using public footpaths
The 5km will be a single loop the 10km will be 2 loops and easy to follow this will be signed or marshalled. ( All on Footpath's )
The Half Marathon will be a single loop and the Full Marathon will be 2 loops, and will follow our usual road book, which is very easy to follow. ( Mixture of Footpath, road and Trail )
There will be a Medal and a bottle of water for all finishers in order to maximise the donation to the charity.
