Marathon & Half Marathon
We have been asked by a number of people to host another Marathon before the end of the year.
So we have decided that we would offer another CHEAPO no frills event.
It will be fully insured, it will have medical cover and you will get a medal (this will be a random we run event medal). We will supply water to refill your own water bottles, (we will not be supplying water in cups or bottles).
The event will be self sufficient as normal, there will be no signage on the route, we will give you a GPX of the route to download for your watches or your phone App.
The route will be mostly on footpath with a small section on rural roads.
In order for the event to go ahead we need a minimum of 30 people registered for the Marathon.
We will also have a Half Marathon option which will be run on footpath on an out and back route, ideally we would require a minimum of 25 for this.
Both runs will start and finish in Carrickfergus.
