Ans: We were given permission in 2026 to allow a limited number of vans, this will be the same in 2027 but will be on a first come basis.

Ans: We have no restriction on what you use, it can be a tent or Gazeboo.

Ans: Some areas have lights the camping area has very limited lighting you are best to have your own camping lights.

Ans: Yes we recommend you have either a head torch or hand torch for using the Portaloos at night as they do not have lights.

Ans. We do not supply ready boiled water, however there is a small kitchen that will be available where you can go and boil water yourself.

Ans: Yes there is limited parking in the park, there is also parking outside at the Sam Thompson Bridge. We ask you not to park around the houses at the entrance to Victoria Park

Q: Can i drive my car in to drop of my tent etc.
Ans: Yes you can bring your car in to drop of at the camping area but you must remove your car to the carpark when it is unloaded.

Ans: We intend to supply Pasta for the Runners in the evening on Saturday and Porridge on Sunday Morning, times will be confirmed closer to the event.

Ans: You will collect your T shirt when you collect your Race Number (please ensure you order this when you register and also the correct size as you cannot change this on the day.

Q: Why do i have to pay a £5 deposit for my Chip.
Ans: For all of the distances except the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10Km you will use a reuseable chip, which must be returned after the event, you basically pay us £5 in cash only on the day as a hire charge for the chip, when you return it at the end of the event we give you your £5 cash back.
