The Famine Way Ultra 50 is a Journey through time following in the footsteps of the Tenants of Strokestown as they marched to Dublin during the Famine in 1497.

You will retrace their journey in reverse starting close to Mullingar and you will run to Strokestown Park, Co Roscommon, where you will finish in the grounds of Strokestown Park House, this is the point where the residents actually started their journey.

Route Details * Select at least 1 I am aware on entering, there are no additional arrows or marshals along the route, I agree I must follow the Way markers already in place, I can follow the route using a GPX file supplied by We Run Wild NI, that I can download onto my own gps device
