The Longest Non Stop Road Race in Northern Ireland.
Our newest long distance event with the option of 2 distances:
Distance 1 - (THE FUN RUN) This will see runners take on the challenge of running from Belfast to finish in Derry/Londonderry a total of 75miles.

Distance 2 - (THE ULTIMATE) This will see runners take on a massive challenge of running from Derry/Londonderry to Belfast then turning around and running all the way back completing a total of 150miles making this the longest road race in Northern Ireland.

The ROUTE:
The route is entirely run on Roads and footpaths, there are no trails or off road sections on this event. You will follow the route using GPS and we will also supply you with a detailed set of route instructions that you can download to your mobile phone. There will be no additional arrows or signs placed along the route by us.
The route will NOT follow the direct route up the Glenshane Pass and will not follow major roads where possible.
Most roads will have footpaths or hard shoulders to run on with the exception of a few minor country roads.
The route will be made fully available once registration is complete and in plenty of time before the event.

You will be allowed a maximum of 24hours to finish the event, this is a very generous cut off time and a great chance for anyone wanting to train towards reaching the 100mile mark.
Start time: The 75mile will start at 7am Saturday 9th March.
We suggest that you have your own crew although you can choose to run without a crew.
There will be a minimum of 3 aid stations/checkpoints along the route and you will be tracked on your journey with the aid of a tracker.
As this is a road race there will be opportunities for you to purchase items from shops located along the route, however if you are intending to make use of shops along the route we recommend that you should check times to make sure that you are at the specific location before closing time.
It is your responsibility to carry enough water and food to get you to each aid station/checkpoint.
You will be required to have certain mandatory kit and as this is a road run you must wear HI VIZ clothing at all times and at night you must have a tail light. Whether or not you have a crew, you must carry all of the mandatory kit at all times.
Mandatory kit: Hi Viz vest, Head Torch, Tail Light, Waterproof Jacket, Gloves, Hat/Buff, Warm Base layer. There will be no exceptions please do not ask.

Transport: It is your responsibility to arrange your own transport to the Start and from the Finish.
There are Trains & Buses close to the finish in Derry/Londonderry to take you back to Belfast, (this is not included in your entry fee) however you would need to look at your estimated finish time if you are intending on getting public transport back to Belfast.

Bag transport: We will transport a bag for you from the start to the Finish this will NOT be accessible along the route.
For the 150mile participants you can have a separate bag transported to the turnaround point.

Entry fees:
To enable us to gauge numbers of those wishing to take part we have opened registration for the event with a £10 deposit payment system, we ask that if you are going to take part that you pay the deposit by 31st December. 50% of the registration fee is then due by 6th January 2024 with the remainder due by 1st February 2024.
75mile registration is £90.00
150mile registration is £170.00
